About Us
Hays Co. Outfitters first began in 2012 on the Square in downtown San Marcos, Tx. Since then, we have moved a few times and landed a great spot in Centerpoint Plaza off of Centerpoint Rd. in San Marcos (right behind Whataburger).
HCO is owned and operated by a Texas State Alum and local to San Marcos who has a passion for the outdoors. The store currently employs students from Texas State as well as alumni.
We are a men's and women's southern lifestyle and outdoor outfitter. You will find clothing, footwear and accessories ranging from Patagonia and Chaco to Birkenstock and Southern Tide.
