About Us
Hays County Crime Stoppers has developed a combined effort by local media, businesses, civic and social clubs, law enforcement agencies, and the public to combat crime in our communities.
Donations of personal time, newspaper space, and reward monies have established Hays County Crime Stoppers as an effective tool to fight crime in the area.
Our mission is to deter crime, allow anonymous reporting, provide monetary rewards, and help our community be a safer place to live.

Mr. Jeffrey Jordan
Sergeant Jeffrey P. Jordan is a veteran law enforcement officer with over 20 years of law enforcement experience, serving the citizens of Hays County. He is a graduate of San Marcos High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Southwest Texas State University and a Master of Arts Degree in History from Texas State University-San Marcos. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 2005. He is an instructor, teaching law enforcement officers, the public, and youth. He holds a Basic Instructor Proficiency Certificate, Master Jailer Proficiency Certificate, a Master Peace Officer Proficiency Certificate, Court Security Specialist Certificate, and Certified Crime Prevention Specialist Certificate. He began serving as the Hays County Crime Stoppers Executive Director in September 2021. Sergeant Jordan resides in Kyle, Texas with his wife, Laura and their daughters Samantha, Alexandra, and Julianna.
