The Training Specialist assesses Talent Development and Training related needs and drafts targeted initiatives that will increase performance, organizational trust and satisfaction. Supports nominations for Leadership & Talent Development Programs for target groups in the area of responsibility and competency management by identifying gaps and proposing (training) measures. Responsible for both hourly and salaried development within the location.

- Supporting nominations for Leadership & Talent Development Programs for target groups in the area of responsibility
- Supporting competency management by identifying gaps and proposing training measures
- Steering and/or executing Vocational Training Management (depending on size of location)
- Ensuring a standardized training program is established, implemented and updated
- Measuring and improving effectiveness of trainings and implementing corrective actions if necessary
- Ensuring training compliance for internal and external audit purposes
- Serve as a talent scout in the organization and provoking positive changes in talent management
- Driving readiness of talents through proper succession planning in line with the business needs
- Supporting and guiding managers as well as individual employees in talent and performance management processes in accordance with country specific legal regulations, Center of Excellence (CoE) guidance, and company guidelines while ensuring execution of measures
- Identifying deriving trends / gaps in development needs, alerting organization to critical areas for succession planning, etc. and following up with the Head of HR
- Driving and Supporting local programs (e.g. Onboarding, talent development)
- Guiding execution in area of responsibility of Talent Management initiatives and measures
- Organizing and conducting the Talent Management Conferences / Talent Review Meetings with Head of HR
- Challenging and consulting the organization regarding results and adherence of Performance and Talent Management processes
- Steering and managing retention initiatives actively
- Consulting management, Head of HR and employees on all Talent Management related matters.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with department leadership teams to support development planning and succession planning at leadership level

Additional Responsibilities:
- Supports Head of HR in their role as strategic partner and change manager
- Continuously evaluates performance according defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Operating Figures
- Summarizes and completes reporting within the local Organization and publishes reporting results
- Ensures effective HR processes by collaborating with HR Operations regarding the full portfolio of HR related services (e.g. payroll, HR data..)
- Ensures employee data accuracy
- Ensures data availability and quality of the audit/compliance related records (i.e. record of compensation decisions, training certificates, exit interviews)
- Ensures legal compliance and trigger actions if needed due to labor requirements
- Takes over administrative tasks if it comes to customization and deviations from the standard
- Collects and provides change requests towards HRO and CoEs to ensure effective HR IT systems

Basic Qualifications:

- 4 Year Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of learning and development experience
- Experience leading projects through completion
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
