Kitchen Manager

As a Kitchen Manager, you will be expected to effectively and professionally assist in managing operations in the kitchen and expo areas. You will be responsible for coordinating events and strategizing ways to minimize labor while simultaneously maximizing sales. You will be expected to provide strong leadership and coaching to your team with the goal of creating a professional and safe work environment that provides all team-members with the tools needed to succeed.

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting the GM in managing daily operations and performance of team members
  • Ensuring team members meet EVO Entertainment guest service standards
  • Performing daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties
  • Ensuring proper staffing in each area
  • Assisting with hiring, training, and appropriately disciplining team members
  • Working effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners
  • Listening, communicating, and working to resolve guest concerns
  • Maintaining regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts
  • All other functions as defined for the Kitchen Manager
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in hospitality business (bar, restaurant, etc.)
  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to obtain any required alcohol service licenses and food manager certifications
  • Extensive knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis
  • Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
  • Read and write handwritten notes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of all staff functions
