Position Overview:
 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper at Servpro Team Friermuth, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the financial health of our company. If you have experience in bookkeeping and a strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism, we invite you to become a valuable part of our organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Process payroll and employee expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Perform financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, fixed assets, and business resume.
  • Manage vendors, resources, and subcontractors for financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Handle inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including 2+ years of QuickBooks Online experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the restoration and construction industry is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully complete a Servpro required background check and drug screen subject to applicable law.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
