The Central Texas Wing (CAF) is planning a Living History Flight Experience (LHFE) flying day on December 14th at their airport location in San Marcos. Individuals wishing to purchase a 30 minute LHFE can begin signing up at 10:00 on that Saturday morning. Flights are $395 per person, minimum age is 12, the B-25 "Yellow Rose" can take a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 on each flight. All passengers will be able to move from the nose to the tail and experience what B-25 crew members had to deal with while flying combat missions during World War II. Those interested can contact Mr. Grant Lannon at 512-924-5406 or glannon@texas.net to sign up in advance. Individuals who sign up early will be given priority on flights. Payment can be cash, check, or credit card. These flights are usually a once in a lifetime experience and would make the perfect Christmas gift at this time of year. The Central Texas Wing is located in a World War II hangar at the back of the San Marcos airport on Highway 21, just east of San Marcos beside Gary Job Corps.
