Our Driving Concern Texas Employer Program from the National Safety Council San Marcos Training Sponsored by the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of San Marcos The ODC Train-the-Trainer provides facilitation skills trainings and 4 key traffic-safety topics employers can use with their employees as well as providing additional resources for the employers. The ODC Curriculum is approximately 4 hours in length and after attending the Train-the-Trainer, participants receive their own copies of the curriculum for free that they can use with their companies. This program is designed to reduce the financial and emotional impact of crashes - both on and off the job. Through interactive instructional methods, participants are prompted to consider modifying risky driving habits. The Overview module describes the problems of risky driving behaviors, and how it affects your company. The four Behavior-Specific Presentations: Distracted Driving, Impaired Driving, Aggressive Driving, and Passenger Restraint are 15 - 20 minutes each and are designed to engage and reinforce good driving habits. The goal is to connect participants’ behaviors with risky driving behaviors in an engaging way, and encourage safe driving. WHO SHOULD ATTEND THESE TRAININGS?
