Wetlands can be found all over the world, but did you know we’re lucky enough to have one in our own backyard? Come celebrate World Wetlands Day at the Meadow Center for a fun and knowledgeable experience as we learn why wetlands are an important part of our environment, as well as gain the essential knowledge needed to spot a wetland in your own community. The event will include a guided glass-bottom boat ride and interactive activities that teach students K-12th the interconnections between all living things and water. Homeschool students are encouraged to register. Tickets are $8/person; children 2 and under are free. Check-in begins at 9:45am at the Meadows Center ticket kiosk. Classes take place once a month. Discount available for reserving multiple events in the series. Details: OutdoorAcademy.MeadowsWater.org
