Did you know that bees are not the only pollinators? Pollinators consist of multiple species, from small animals to insects, and they are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat! Together, we’ll learn about different types of pollinators and why they are one of the most important aspects of our ecosystem as well as different ways we can move forward to protect them. The event will include a guided glass-bottom boat ride and interactive activities that teach students K-12th the interconnections between all living things and water. Homeschool students are encouraged to register. Tickets are $8/person; children 2 and under are free. Check-in begins at 9:45am at the Meadows Center ticket kiosk. Classes take place once a month. Discount available for reserving multiple events in the series. Details: OutdoorAcademy.MeadowsWater.org
