Mid-Texas Presents Their 36th Concert Season "Out of This World - Music of the Spheres Music Director David Mairs kicks off the Mid-Texas Symphony's 36th Season with Bruch's Scottish Fantasy, performed by violinist Charles Yang, and Holst's The planet'swith a presentation using NASA Photographs by Astrophysicist Eric Schlegel. The performance is at Jackson Auditorium on the Texas Lutheran University campus in Seguin. The Mid-Texas Symphony has provided the Central Texas Region with the professional symphonic music for 36 years. In addition to concerts featuring reowned guest artists, the Mid-Texas Symphony also provides educational opportunities through its your free Children's Concerts for your area fourth and fifth graders, the annual young artist and Music memory Competitions, the Community Music Academy (Co-Sponsored with Texas Lutheran University), and guest artist master classes and residencies.
