"Lights! Camera! Community" Location Workshop
LIGHTS! CAMERA! COMMUNITY!
This half-day workshop is for businesses and residents seeking to position their properties for film and television production. Explore how your business or residence could serve as a prime candidate for exposure in major media projects.
The workshop will feature three panels, all moderated by FAB members. The first panel presents Film Friendly Liaisons certified by the Texas Film Commission in Hays County municipalities, who will outline application and permitting procedures. The second panel features experienced Location Scouts and Managers to discuss location procurement. The third panel convenes representatives from the Austin and Texas Film Commissions to explain the listing process for the location hub.
Lunch will be provided courtesy of local restaurants in San Marcos' South Square Collective, followed by a post-workshop networking mixer at a San Marcos venue to be announced during the event.
