Heirloom Blooms’ Spring Break Camp (March 11th-March 15th) is a fun, hands-on day camp that combines scientific investigations with creativity inspired by the natural world. Campers (ages 5-17) will: Use field microscopes, bug viewers, maps, and compasses to explore our outdoor learning lab. Learn about weather, central Texas geology, biodiversity, and the local ecosystem. Create art using both traditional and digital media, and use The Edge of Imagination Station to make original stop-motion animation videos. Complete a service learning project by restoring native Texas grasses and wildflowers to wildlife habitats. Registration: $300; includes healthy snacks and lunch, gifted (and CPR/first aid trained) instructors, field equipment, art supplies, and the Heirloom Blooms Nature Journal. Full and partial scholarships available! For more information, call (512) 847-5225, or go to heirloomblooms.org/programs.
