EMS to Offer Free CPR Training
San Marcos Hays County EMS invites the public to a free training to learn life-saving CPR on Saturday, May 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins. The "Take 10" course takes 10 minutes to learn compression-only Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). "We are trying to get the message out about how important it can be to saving a person's life if CPR is performed before Fire and EMS arrive on the scene," said Jesse Martinez, EMT Intermediate with San Marcos Hays County EMS.
