Farmer Fred and the Bunny are going to join the community for some Spring-filled fun at the annual Farmer Fred’s Garden Spring Carnival The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation and the Texas State University Recreation Department are sponsoring the event for San Marcos youngsters. Admission to the event is free. The event will feature 35 free carnival games with prizes and candy, pictures with the Bunny for $3, a kite-flying station, the Wiggle Waggle train ride for $2.50 and a free, age-grouped egg hunt. “Parks and Recreation looks forward to hosting this low-cost, family-friendly event in our park every year to celebrate the Spring season,” said Jessica Jenkins, Recreation Program Coordinator for Parks and Recreation-Community Services Department. The times for the Egg Hunts are: 6:15 p.m.- ages 1 to 3 6:45 p.m.- ages 4 to 5 7:15 p.m.- ages 6 to 9 7:45 p.m.- ages 10 to 12 Event sponsors contribute to making this community event possible: CFAN, Austin Sonics, Ted Breihan Electric Company, The Hitch: A Mobile Eatery, Emeritus at San Marcos Senior Living
