SUMMARY:THE COVER OF LIFE
DESCRIPTION:April 29 May 22\n\nTHE COVER OF LIFE by R.T. Robinson\, Directed by Tracy Arnold\n\nTood\, Weetsie\, and Sybil are all brides in rural Louisiana in 1943. Each married a Cliffert brother. The men are off to war and a local news story about these young wives keeping the home fires burning intrigues Henry Luce. He decides that they belong on the cover of Life Magazine and assigns Kate Miller to the story. She has been covering the war in Europe and\, though she views doing a "women's piece" as a career set-back\, she accepts because it will be her first cover story.\n\n\n\nKate spends a week with the Cliffert women\, and her haughty urban attitude gives way to sympathy as she begins to understand them while coming face-to-face with her own powerlessness in a man's world. Filled with charm and fun\, The Cover of Life is a deeply affecting story about the struggle for self-worth.\n\nIn Person Tickets - Adults $22\, Students with ID $18\n\nGroups of 8+ receive $2 discount per ticket\n\nStreaming at Broadway on Demand Individual $22\, Household $44\n\nPerformances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm. \n\nTickets are available at www.wimberleyplayers.org\, by phone at 512-847-0575 Tuesday-Friday 12:00 - 6:00 pm.\, or in person at the box-office at 450 Old Kyle Road just 5 blocks east of town square.\n\n\n\nCAST\n\nKate Miller Roxanne Strobel\n\nTood Lettie Dyer\n\nWeetsie Meret Slover\n\nAunt Ola Karen Rudy\n\nSybil Austin Strobel\n\nAddie Mae Celeste Coburn\n\nTommy Jack Kelley\n\n \n\nCreative Team\n\nDirector Tracy Arnold\n\nScenic Designer Carroll Dolezal\n\nLighting Designer William Peeler\n\nCostume Designer Kathy Maldonado\n\nSound Designer Brennon Cope\n\nHair and Make-up Bridget Cook\n\nVoice and Dialect Coach Kate Glasheen-Dentino
