DESCRIPTION:The Austin-San Antonio Corridor is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing corridors in the U.S. Our goal as a regional community is to grow by design and not by default\, meaning we are taking strategic and metric-driven steps to ensure that all of the tools in our toolbox are their sharpest\, including the future-ready development of our workforce pipeline. The quality of a communities' workforce is the most important competitive asset it can offer current and future employers.\n\n\n\nJoin the Greater San Marcos Partnership on April 2nd as we take a look behind the scenes at the work being done in our area school districts to prepare our future workforce today. Guests will hear from Commissioner Julian Alvarez\, representing labor for the Texas Workforce Commission\, who will deliver a Keynote Address about the role of apprenticeships in developing our future workforce. Then a panel of education leaders will discuss how they're working on a daily basis to provide a dynamic and world-class education to our children.
